Panhandle-Plains Historical Museum in Canyon, Texas

Wednesday, January 26th, Panhandle-Plains Historical Museum in Canyon, TX. You can find more information about the museum at http://www.panhandleplains.org/. There are a lot of teacher resources under the "Educational Resources" on the main page of the website plus podcasts, videocasts, and more information about the exhibits that are currently offered at the museum. Neat stuff! If you'd like to caravan, we will be meeting at 11:30 am (12:30 pm TX time) at the base front gate to caravan to the museum and arrive at the museum at approximately 1:30 pm (2:30 pm). If you would like to meet the group at the museum, let's plan on meeting at the entrance at approximately 2:30 pm. Whatever way works best for your family is great! Because we will be attending as a homeschool group, we received a special rate for admission of $3.00 per child and the parent/teacher is free. There will be tons of learning opportunities for us to include learning more about the Dusty Old Dust when we first arrive, and each child will receive a learning journal to help guide them through the museum.
