Events This Week

Hi everyone!

Just wanted to remind everyone of our events this week and how to prepare for them:

Mom’s Night Out:  Saturday May 22 at 6:30 pm    Topic is Curriculum!! We will also discuss teaching and learning styles which are helpful to understand in choosing your curriculum!!  If you have homeschooled before bring a brief “run down” sheet  of what you use and a few samples of what has worked for you if you would like.  I will try to later compile the highlights to send out to everyone.  Bring a friend that is considering homeschooling or starting out in the fall that wants info!  Bring a light snack or dessert to share.  Hopefully we’ll have time to play a game and just hang out together!  Our host is Belinda. (An area wide used curriculum/book sale will take place in June so we won’t focus on a swap/sell of items.)

End of the Year Family Potluck:  Sunday, May 23 at 3-6pm.  Bring your husband, children and a main dish to share as we celebrate another completed school year and the group friendships that we are blessed with.  We do need one family to provide the paper goods (plates, utensils, and napkins). Juice boxes, sodas and bottled water will be our drinks so we don’t need cups.  Our host family is the Biagini’s.  Please reply to Barbara at biagmir at yahoo dot com so that she can help us best prepare.
