Neat stuff! If you'd like to caravan, we will be meeting at 11:30 am (12:30 pm TX time) at the base front gate to caravan to the museum and arrive at the museum at approximately 1:30 pm (2:30 pm). If you would like to meet the group at the museum, let's plan on meeting at the entrance at approximately 2:30 pm. Whatever way works best for your family is great! Because we will be attending as a homeschool group, we received a special rate for admission of $3.00 per child and the parent/teacher is free. There will be tons of learning opportunities for us to include learning more about the Dusty Old Dust when we first arrive, and each child will receive a learning journal to help guide them through the museum. If you plan to attend, please contact Jenn so we can get a headcount and let the museum staff know how many to expect! Below you will find the contact information for the museum. Thank you and hope to see you there!

Thursday, January 13th, 9-11am at the 801 Community Center: Making Music

We’ll have stations set up to help the kids understand and appreciate music a little more. Come experience learning more about composition, instruments, and components of music: Mood, Expression, Emotion and Rhythm.

Moms, please bring any musical instruments (real and/or geared toward children) you have at your house to give a diverse selection and display. I will need 3 other parents to guide the stations with me. Please contact Eva if you are inclined to help me out and I will get the lesson plans to you for that specific station!!!
