Arts and Crafts Learning Lesson - May 12 (Thursday), 2011

9:15-11 am at the 801 Community Center. We’ll be making some gifts for mothers!! Come celebrate Daphne birthday with cupcakes as well!! Please RSVP to Jenn so she can prepare supplies.

Gardening Lesson April 14 (Thursday), 2011 9:30 – 11am

Come join us at the 801 Community Center in Clovis housing and learn about the parts of the plants and how they grow. We’ll also do a little gardening as well.

Renew Your Spirit (...and Mind...and Body)

As homeschooling mothers, we spend most of our time with our children -- something in which we all take delight. We sacrifice and act selflessly, which is great... most of the time. It can be all too easy to allow ourselves, our own persons, to slip off the radar completely. Then our husbands and children have a grumpy, burned-out Mom! No fun for anyone!

So come to a special night of refreshment and renewal just for us moms on Saturday, March 26, 2011, beginning at 5:30 PM at my house. Come prepared to share what has worked for you (and what hasn't!) to keep yourself healthy and to renew yourself as a homeschooling mother. Or just bring yourself ready to be filled up! Together we will share:

Fellowship
Dinner & refreshments
Exchange of "Take Care of Mom" ideas
Make some homemade spa items to take home (and sample if we want while we concoct them!)

Military Working Dog Demonstration
